As a Lake Tahoe–based husband-and-wife photography team with nearly two decades of experience, we know wedding days come with a little bit of everything — quiet moments, big emotions, beautiful chaos, and plenty you never see coming.
We’re there for all of it. The loud laughter and packed dance floors, the quick glances and quiet exchanges, the people you love being completely themselves. We know when to step in, when to hang back, and how to move with the energy of the day so you never feel like your wedding has turned into a photoshoot.

We’re Rob and “M” — or Robert and Marie, Mr. & Mrs. if you want to be really formal — the husband-and-wife team behind VILD Photography.
With Rob born in South Lake Tahoe and M making her way here from Sweden, a love of the outdoors has always been a big part of who we are. Mountains, lakes, long days outside, and exploring somewhere new are usually where we’re happiest.
We’ve called the Sierra home for more than a decade, and these days we get to experience it all over again while raising our two boys, Noah and Liam, here. Tahoe isn’t just where we photograph weddings — it’s our home, and a place we know, love, and feel incredibly lucky to share with our couples.
