What details to include on your Wedding Invitation

When creating your wedding invitations, it’s essential to include the following details to ensure your guests are well-informed and prepared for your special day:

  1. Wedding Invitation:

    • Your wedding invitation is the centerpiece of the suite. It should include:

      • Names: Yours and your partner’s full names.

      • Date: The date of your wedding.

      • Time: The ceremony start time.

      • Venue: The location of the wedding ceremony.

      • RSVP Information: How guests can respond (whether online or via a physical RSVP card).

      • Meal selection (optional): As people RSVP you can also have them select what meal they wish to choose from to get an accurate count for your caterer.

  2. RSVP Card:

    • Even if you’re collecting RSVPs online, a paper RSVP card is recommended. It provides guests with an alternative way to respond and adds a personal touch to your invitation.

  3. Details Card (Optional but recommended):

    • Depending on available space on the invitation itself, you can include additional details on a separate card. This card may cover:

      • Wedding Website: If your invitation lacks space, include your wedding website link here.

      • Accommodations: Information about nearby hotels or accommodations.

      • Transportation: Details on parking, shuttles, or transportation options.

      • Reception Venue: If your reception is at a different location from the ceremony, mention it here.

      • Dress Code: Specify the dress code for your wedding.

      • Gift Registry Information: If you have a gift registry, provide relevant details.

Remember that your wedding invitations set the tone for your big day, so make sure they reflect your style and convey all necessary information to your guests!
