Tannenbaum Wedding with Terracotta and Succulent Details

Kelsey and Michale met at the end of 2015 at an LSU football game as Kelsey’s best friend was dating Mike’s best friend/ roommate at the time. Mike says he knew that Kelsey would be “the one” for him as he describes their first kiss as ‘electrifying’. The night after their first date he had texted his sister a picture of them together and said that Kelsey would be her future sister-in-law. Fast forward to 2021, they got engaged on a beach watching the sunset in Santa Barbra.

With Mike originally being from Reno, and after having brought Kelsey back a couple of times to visit it became a pretty easy decision to get married there. While picking the venue Tannenbaum became a great choice as they were looking for something that was easily accessible for visitors but still had that rustic/ natural charm that they wanted. Tannenbaum also has gorgeous views and the layout was just perfect for their day. With a theme of dusty blue and terracotta colors, with a lot of darker green accents, the whole vision came together. Kelsey loves succulents, so they incorporated those in decorations wherever possible.

One thing that was really special and important to them was to incorporate their dogs who are such an important part of their lives. They gracefully took on the roles as “ring bearer” and “flower girl”. Soo cute!
