Spring Wedding at Chateau At Incline Village Lake in Tahoe

Alex and Bridget have this great story. Bridget’s childhood best friend invited her on a ski trip to Park City with her, her boyfriend, and a few other guys. Bridget says she picked Alex out of the group immediately since he was the cutest. They sort of kept in touch, but they didn’t get together until about a year later. Alex asked her to go skiing with him in South Lake, and she booked a ticket to go stay with a guy she’d met once. But it worked out well because we ended up photographing their wedding at Chateau at Incline Village!

An Elaborate Proposal

When it came time to propose, Alex constructed a pretty big web of lies to get Bridget in the right place at the right time. He told her they were going to help out his realtor friend with a staging photoshoot, but first, they needed to go check out the mountain biking trails. He set up the GoPro for a picture, took the coffee out of her hand, and positioned her. She immediately knew he was proposing and started crying tears of happiness. He had even thought to get a photographer for that moment. Not to mention, he got the perfect ring for Bridget, a big round diamond on a plain platinum gold band.

Romantic Wedding at Chateau at Incline Village

The Chateau at Incline Village is an absolutely gorgeous venue that we love shooting at. It has both lake and mountain views, which makes for the perfect backdrops for wedding photos. Their indoor Grand Ballroom is massive and includes vaulted timber ceilings and beautiful stone fireplaces. It was the perfect place for Alex and Bridget.

After their lovely first look, this adventurous couple got married outside with the expansive views. We loved their décor as they chose big flower displays with red and yellow flowers along with lots of greenery. It was so much fun partying with Alex and Bridget at the Chateau in Incline Village.
